What's it all about .....
Adura Onashile took the act for course a couple of years ago. We really encouraged her to audition for drama school. She gained a place at The Oxford School of Drama (one of the top 2 in the UK). Adura has just performed in The Overwhelming at The National Theatre (one of the top theatres in the UK).
Danny Dalton took the act for courses 2 years ago, went to Lamda, has just graduated and now has just performed with The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) in The Winters Tale, Pericles and Days of Significance .
Also congratulations to Jessie Lloyd (Cave) who is currently filming Lavender in the new Harry Potter, she took act for just before the Summer (2007), we weren't surprised at all when she landed the role.
So we are always very proud of everyone that participates in our courses and we really encourage everyone to keep in touch so they can keep asking questions...........
Great things come to those that wait - new things for act up in 2008!
Here are just a few of the new things coming to act up - more to follow soon........
- We're going to take the act one course on holiday in 2008. If you would like to stay in a beautiful location in the UK and do a bit of acting each day for a week then please do place your interest with us by quoting 'act one on holiday'.
- We're introducing bite size courses for anyone interested in our communication skills training. Each area will consist of just one or two classes so you can mix & match and really find the training suitable to your needs. Best of all you can make the training as short or as long as you wish.
To register your interest, please quote 'bite size' to us.
