ready to audition

The course is aimed at anyone that has completed the act for two course that will be auditioning for drama school in the near future.

The course consists of 4 three-hour classes.

The course will be run by one actor. In the fourth week they will come together with additional people to form a panel ready to audition you.

N.B. You must have your pieces chosen, worked on and ‘off the book’ before the course begins. We would encourage you to have two classical and two modern.

It's a 3-hour, four-week course with a maximum group size of 6. The course also includes an optional trip to the theatre.

Our Requirement - for enrolment you must be aged 18 or over.

For? – For anyone who has previously taken the act for two course who is about to audition for drama school.

Dates: the next available course begins in January 2012.
Starting on Saturday 14th Jan (and every Saturday until 4th Feb)

Getting to the Academy

We accept payment either:

1. By online payment - credit/debit card or Paypal (then fill in the online application form)

2. By telephone (pay by card over the telephone then fill in the online application form)

3. By bank transfer (call or email act up for bank details then fill in the online application form), or

4. By cheque or credit/debit card (send in your cheque or card details by post, together with a printout of the application form below. Cheques should be made payable to act up).

A deposit of £60.00 must be paid to secure a place on the course of your choice. We have a limited number of places on each course, so to avoid disappointment it is advisable to pay your deposit as soon as you can.

The outstanding balance must be paid in full one week before the course begins. If you enrol in the week before the first class, it’s fine to join but full payment must be made before the day of the class.

If your employer is paying and you would prefer to be invoiced, please notify Gemma Lloyd at act up. In the event of cancellation by you after paying in full, a refund of the balance will be made provided that notice of 7 days is given before the course begins.

No refund will be made if for whatever reason you cancel after the course has begun.

The deposit is in all cases non-refundable.

In the unlikely event that act up has to cancel your course, a full refund will be made.
