Gemma, I want to give you Adrian and Neil some feedback because the course has really helped me very much. Last week I gave a 5 minute presentation at Portcullis house at the House of Commons. It went really well and a colleague told me that I had very good presentation skills!! and others said they liked the fact that I took my time. My boss told me that it was excellent.

“I used all the techniques that I was taught, particularly about breathing, how to do eye contact, engaging the audience, posture, speaking slowly, pausing and I even managed a small joke at the beginning. I practiced in front of a mirror, my husband and a colleague and this helped enormously. Because I had all these techniques at my disposal I just felt more relaxed and on top of the situation.

“I have also been doing quite a few informal workshops to outside organisations and these are going fine too.

“I really never could have got to this point without the act all course and it was worth all the effort. Please say a big thank you to Neil and Adrian and I hope you are all well.

Best wishes, Mary"
