act up in business is designed for any organisation or company.
We specialise in communication. It's a broad term but encompasses many areas that are essential in business today.
We employ trainers who are professional actors for the simple reason that they have highly developed communication skills. We adapt and utilise their skills to benefit everyone.
Actors: think on their feet, are confident in performance, have natural presence, good listening skills, take people at face value and react and adapt quickly to new surroundings and situations................
If one of our courses is suitable to your needs, but you cannot commit to regular attendance, we can adapt any of our courses to suit your timescale. Perhaps the act one course would fit the bill for just a day: you and your colleagues will still reap the benefits of developing new skills and having fun together.
If you are looking for more specific training, we can offer workshops to assist with:
- managing change
- presentation skills
- communication skills
- voice work
- fundraising skills
- interacting and discussion
- team building
- confidence and assertiveness development
- telephone, radio and television skills
We can also offer programmes to assist you in illustrating specific work related issues personal to you and your colleagues through the use of forum theatre or role play.
Organisations and companies that we have worked with include:
Ascend Worldwide

Thanks Gemma, please can you feed back to Kate the following……
“Cherrelle, my client, had been preparing with Kate for an interview for the following day. It was going to be a 2 hour interview with presentations, role plays, group work and 1:1 interview. Cherrelle has had a number of interviews in succession recently but her communication/confidence due to nerves kept causing her to struggle and she was having no success and getting very disheartened. After her workshop with Kate, Cherrelle’s confidence was so much greater and she went to her interview on Wednesday morning, phoned me immediately after and said she felt she had done herself proud. We heard late last night that she has got the job and she is over the moon.
“Please tell Kate thank you so much, again, for her hard work.
“You know I will be in contact again shortly.
“And I will pay that invoice with pride!!”
